Five Easy Recipes for a Delicious Picnic this Spring Season

Easy Recipes to Try in Your Kitchen

Some of the best springtime meals to make in the kitchen and eat at your picnic are listed below.

1. Chocolate-Filled Strawberries.

Ingredients: One dozen strawberries and three large Snicker chocolate bars.

1a. Preparation:

  1. Break the Snicker chocolate bars into small pieces.
  2. Melt the chocolate in a large bowl by heating it for 20 seconds in the microwave.
  3. Stir the chocolate with a spoon.
  4. Slice the tops off all the strawberries and dig a large hole through the top with a spoon.
  5. Use a spoon to fill the strawberries with chocolate.

2. Boiled Egg Salad.

Ingredients: Five eggs, one large lettuce, and three tomatoes.

2a. Preparation:

  1. Boil the eggs for 15 minutes in water. Then make them sit for 10 minutes, then remove them from the water.
  2. Remove the eggshells and mash whole eggs with a spoon into powder.
  3. Cut the lettuce into small pieces in a medium bowl.
  4. Cut the tomatoes into small pieces and mix with lettuce and powdered eggs.
  5. Add a fair amount of salt to taste.

3. Pasta and Mackerel in Tomato Sauce.

Ingredients: One Pack of pasta and one large tin of Jack Mackerel in the tomato sauce.

3a. Preparation:

  1. Boil the pasta for 15 minutes in a large pot of water or until the pasta, is soft and can be cut with a fork.
  2. Open the tin of Mackerel and pour all the contents into a bowl, cover it with a plate, then heat it in the microwave for four minutes.
  3. Mix the pasta and Mackerel with sauce in a large bowl, then pour all the contents into a container.

4. Bully Beef and Brown Rice.

Ingredients: One tin of corned beef, one pound of brown rice, one small onion, and one small tomato, vegetable oil.

4a. Preparation:

  1. Wash and then boil the rice in a large pot of water for fifteen minutes until soft and the water is gone.
  2. Open the tin of corned beef and mash it with a fork so that it crumbles.
  3. Cut up the onion and tomato into small pieces.
  4. Mix the mashed corned beef with the onion and tomato. Then fry the mixture in vegetable oil.
  5. Serve the rice and corned beef in a plastic container or plate.

5. Avocado and Toast.

Ingredients: One large avocado and eight slices of whole-wheat bread.

5a. Preparation:

  1. Slice the avocado into four portions and remove the seed.
  2. Use a spoon to scoop the flesh of the avocado into a bowl.
  3. Mash the avocado into a paste.
  4. Toast the slices of whole-wheat bread until golden brown.
  5. Spread the avocado paste onto the toast and make four sandwiches.
