Dallas is full of art museums, shopping destinations, and professional sports teams. When it comes to outdoor activities, there is something for everyone.

If you are a jogger or a runner, The Katy Trail is the perfect spot. One can opt to go for a run, bike ride, or just a nice walk. The Katy Trail extends 3.5 miles from Highland Park through Uptown and to the American Airlines Center. If you walk down the trail long enough, there is a nice reward at the end, The Katy Trail Ice House, where you can reward your efforts with a nice cold beer! Just be sure to maintain social distance at all times. 

If you are a history buff, then a history lesson at Dealey Plaza may be in order. It’s an important part of history that's worth exploring, as this is the spot where JFK was assassinated. When you’ve finished walking the street, you can tour the Sixth Floor Museum. The museum has numerous historical exhibits pertaining to the assassination. Although this museum is currently closed, be sure to visit their website to stay up to date about their re-opening.

If you are one to think, there’s nothing quite like the smell of fresh grapefruit, then you will love this next suggestion. Grapefruit gives off a fresh and sweet aroma, perfect for the bathroom! For an earth-friendly approach, we are going to ditch the toxic chemicals and say hello to a grapefruit and salt combination.

For this technique, you only need 2 ingredients: 1 grapefruit and ¼ cup of course kosher salt. Simply half the grapefruit and sprinkle the salt liberally on one of the halves. Then, wet your bathtub and sprinkle the remaining salt around the bathtub’s rusty and stubborn areas. Next, scrub the bathtub with one of the grapefruit halves, making sure to lightly squeeze a bit of juice on the fixtures as you scrub. After it is all said and done, simply rinse the tub with water to wash away the pulp and other debris, and you are set!

With this all-natural approach, your bathroom will not only look refreshed, but it will smell great as well. For this year’s spring cleaning, there is no need for heavily scented candles!
